Lots of people (including us) like using Google to find information. Here are some tips we've learned to make it easier:

To search words as a phrase:
When searching google, if you put double speech marks " " around your search term, google will search for it as a phrase. Very handy if you're looking for something in particular and you know the words will be in that order.
To find news stories:
If you need recent articles from the news about this issue - enter your search words into Google and then click on the hyperlink to News at the top of the page. They will be ranked with the most recent news stories at the top.
To find academic articles:
Search through Google Scholar for academic articles, peer-reviewed essays, books, theses, abstracts and more.
To find New Zealand information:
If you only want to search New Zealand sites - click on the Pages from New Zealand radio button beneath the search box.
