Where I can find past exam papers for the IB?

LEVEL: Secondary

The IB (International Baccalaureate) is an educational programme used by schools all over the world, including some New Zealand schools. It includes a two year Diploma programme for years 11-13 students, which has examinations.

We found the official IB website by typing IB into Google. We then typed exam papers into the search box, and found a page of free sample exam papers for the Diploma course. Most of the other results from our search were for the IB online store, where you can pay to download copies of past exam papers. We suggest you talk to your school and your parents before doing this, as your school may already have past IB exam papers you can use.

Another way to find the free sample exam papers page is to choose "What we offer" from the bar under the search box, and then choose "Diploma Programme". This will give you more information about the Diploma Programme and how it works, including its curriculum. From this page you can choose "assessment" from the side table, and then "sample exam papers".

For some extra information on the IB, we tried typing IB New Zealand into Google, and found this article from the New Zealand Herald: New Zealand school students excel in the IB Diploma.

HOT TIP: Another place to look for general information on the IB and how it works is Wikipedia. But you need to be aware that this information is contributed by lots of different people. If you are using this site, it always pays to check the information against other sites or books from the library.

We also have hints to find NCEA exam papers.
