How many live volcanoes are there in New Zealand?

The NZ Institue of Geological and Nuclear Sciences has a great section about NZ volcanoes on its website. It's got a list of our volcanoes and heaps of information and even has webcam shots. To check to the Volcanoes section choose Volcano from the top tab list. Explore the other pages listed along the top, eg Our Volcanoes or Current Activity.

Te Ara, the New Zealand Encyclopedia, also has a section on volcanoes.  From the homepage scroll down and choose Earth, Sea and Sky and then Natural Hazards and Disasters then Volcanoes.
